Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse 150,000 SF Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse
PACLAND provided civil engineering and consulting services for this 20 acre site to provide a new 150,000 square feet Lowe’s Home Improvement Warehouse. PACLAND’s responsibilities included value engineering, site plan approval through the City of Puyallup, public sewer main relocation, construction support and post-construction monitoring.
The project had a number of different design elements which required PACLAND’s expertise. The site was encumbered an existing drainage channel which required approval by the Army Corps of Engineers and the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife to relocate. The relocation was integrated into the design of the site while maintaining the hydraulic capacity of the channel. Additionally the relocation of the channel required large culverts for fish passage and relocation of the existing multi-use trail in the Bradley Lake Park adjacent to the property.
PACLAND provided assistance with negotiating easements with the City of Puyallup Parks Department for the main driveway of the site.
PACLAND worked with the City to provide post construction monitoring for the embankments created along the site boundaries. PACLAND completed their role in the project to successfully open the store on schedule.
