Aggressive Schedule with an Early Opening

PACLAND worked closely with a local developer and the Sonic development team to process entitlements, complete site design and process permitting for this restaurant. The site design effort included extensive coordination with the Client in support of evaluating multiple building designs and orientation to best fit the site. PACLAND modified the Client’s layout to eliminate the need for a variance to comply with code requirements and to facilitate efficient site circulation. The schedule for the project was extremely aggressive. PACLAND worked closely with City planning staff and the Sonic development team to secure land use entitlements and permit approval, including NPDES stormwater approval, for this project, meeting the goals of the Client’s expedited schedule. The developer was able to break ground for construction within three and a half months of initiating entitlements and opened the store two and a half months later.
