Seattle Premium Outlets
47 Acres of Premium Retail Space

This project included the development of a 47+ acre premium outlet center totaling more than 400,000 sq. ft. of retail space. This outdoor mall included many plaza areas, which were designed in close coordination with the architect in order to provide an inviting and pedestrian friendly environment. The project schedule was extremely aggressive, including obtaining the Clearing and Grading Permit within one month of receiving the Notice-to-Proceed with Civil Design. Additionally, all other permits were obtained within four months of Notice-to-Proceed. Due in large part to PACLAND'S permitting and site design efforts, Seattle Premium Outlets opened within one year of initiating design activities. Extensive storm drainage constraints encumbered the site. To overcome these constraints, PACLAND designed an innovative storm water system. Our strong working relationships and knowledge of agency criteria allowed us to negotiate and satisfy the needs of both the owner and the public agencies with jurisdiction.
