Bridgeport Way, Custer Road, and 75th Roadway Improvements
Dry Utility Trench Replaces Old System

Lakewood, WA

This project included design of two new traffic signals and modifications to two existing traffic signals. Roadway widening, frontage, pavement marking, and illumination improvements were designed for 3,200 linear feet of Bridgeport Way and 500 linear feet of 75th Street. Intersection improvements and a right turn lane were designed for the Custer Road / Bridgeport Way intersection. Storm drainage improvements included design of an underground conveyance system (approx. 2,000 linear feet of trunk line), underground storm drainage vault, and a storm filter water quality system. PACLAND coordinated closely with multiple utility companies and the City of Lakewood in the design of 3,000 linear feet of dry utility trench which replaced the existing overhead power and utility system.
